Three new faces were seen in the fourth session of the Indonesian language program “Let’s speak Indonesian” in Bristol; there were Demi from Malaysia, Rebecca from Kenya, and Tomoko from Japan. Johanna from England and Hari from India who attended the third session last Tuesday also came back to join this Friday’s session along with Fiona from China who had joined the first session and Maxi from Germany who has always attended every session of the program.
As usual, all the participants did several learning activities to learn and practise some basic Indonesian. The first activity was “Cari seseorang yang” or “Find someone who” to get to know one another. It was then followed by a group work to learn vocabulary of countries using cards.
During the break, the participants enjoyed “Batagor” and then continued learning to make sentences using the new vocabulary they just learnt.
It was really a fun evening and we’re looking forward to seeing all the participants next week on Tuesday and Friday evening at the Station.
